Because the T-8 uses Roland's patented ACB technology, you can be sure this digital recreation is near perfect to the original analog tones, and the inspiration continues into the TR-REC style sequencer taken from greats like the TR-8S and others. 32-step patterns can be chained in a variety of ways with up to 64 saveable patterns, and performance goes beyond typical with quick controls over loop size, reloading, and injecting velocity and probability to the pattern for unlikely rhythms. The unit is tied together with some amazing final delay and reverb for spacing out the sounds along with sidechain compression and overdrive to glue it back together.
