Elektron Octatrack MkII
Elektron's Octatrack is back again with a new makeover, bearing a sleek black finish housed in the robust MkII enclosure. The crisp OLED screen of the MkII makes for easy viewing at any angle, and the buttons, encoders, and crossfader were redesigned from the MkI model for smoother response and a longer lifespan with regular usage. Taking advantage of the update, Elektron also fitted the Octatrack MkII with a few additional buttons, making features like sampling and accessing the audio editor way more straightforward, reducing the need to memorize key combos to access various sub-menus.
Cosmetic updates aside, the Octatrack MkII remains an incredibly powerful platform for sampling and sequencing. It offers eight audio tracks, each capable of capturing or playing back stereo audio files, operating in one of several different modes, referred to as "Machines" inside the Octatrack. Audio files can be pitched up or down and time-stretched to your heart's content, or routed into other tracks for cascaded effects processing chains. If that wasn't enough, Octatrack has an additional eight tracks dedicated to MIDI sequencing, making it a capable centerpiece for any studio or live performance setup. Over ten years in with no sign of slowing down, the Octatrack still stands tall as the ultimate dynamic performance sampler outside of a computer.

It has 8 tracks of sampling, 8 tracks of midi sequencing, 4 audio inputs and 4 audio outputs with tons of sample manipulation and effect options. The DJ crossfader lets you change between two scenes, letting you change multiple settings with one slider. And since it is an Elektron it has a great sequencer.
